Man Utd take on Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night and Mason Mount could return to action.
Erik ten Hag has faced many challenges since taking over at Manchester United but finding someone to play on the right with hardly any right-wingers available is proving to be amongst the toughest.
With Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay both being selected to play on the right over Pellistri in recent matches, it's difficult to see a future for him at Old Trafford despite his promising cameos off the bench. So far, Fernandes has worked the best on the flank. Ten Hag will want to win the match and as we saw last season will likely name a strong starting XI but the game does offer the chance for injured stars like Mount - as well as Sofyan Amrabat and Raphael Varane - to get some much-needed minutes under their belt. With the pressure not as intense as a league match, it's also the perfect opportunity to test-drive Mount on the right flank.
