Primal Scream keyboardist Martin Duffy has died at the age of 55.
Tributes poured in for the Birmingham-born musician after Tim Burgess, lead singer of rock group The Charlatans, shared the tragic news on Twitter.
Duffy worked with the band after joining them to support Oasis at Knebworth in 1996 after the death of their original keyboardist Rob Collins.He wrote:"Another tragic loss of a beautiful soul. Martin Duffy stepped in to save The Charlatans when we lost Rob - he played with us at Knebworth and was a true friend.Another tragic loss of a beautiful soul.
