A popular village pub that can trace some of its structure back 500 years has been taken over by an award-winning company.
It has been acquired with the intention that it will remain the idyllic, country pub and restaurant at the heart of the village, serving food and drink with “great, friendly service to match”.Chris Stagg, brand operations director at Peach Pubs said: “We change our menus with the seasons and cook with quality ingredients from suppliers more used to supplying Michelin-starred restaurants than village pubs.
We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues. The ability to comment on our stories is a privilege, not a right, however, and that privilege may be withdrawn if it is abused or misused. It is important that we continue to promote these adverts as our local businesses need as much support as possible during these challenging times.
