Shane Williams 'lost his head' when he saw his ex's new boyfriend in the street

Judge Richard Gioserano, sentencing, said Williams' actions last June were clearly impulsive, but amounted to serious violence. He said although Williams has a number of previous convictions for burglary and theft he does not have a bad record for violence.
