Some customers are likely to face travel disruptions due to the wildfires
TUI has issued an urgent update for holidaymakers hoping to travel to Greece for their summer holiday.
In the wake of the Rhodes wildfires, the tourism company announced that it will suspend flight operations to the region across the following month. As it continues to closely monitor the wildfires, TUI announced that it will not operate any outbound flights to Rhodes up to and including Friday, July 28.
Furthermore, those travelling to Rhodes are being offered a fee-free amends to another holiday available or the option to cancel for a full refund for those due to travel up to and including July 30. The company highlighted that it will continue to operate flights from Rhodes back to the UK and Ireland as scheduled.
These refunds will be processed within 14 days of the booking being cancelled, according to the company. Alternatively, customers can contact TUI by dialling 0203 451 2688 or entering one of their stores.
