Jet2 has issued an update to customers amid the wildfires in Greece
Jet2 has issued an urgent update for anyone planning to stay in one of the holiday provider's Rhodes accommodations.
This means that anyone planning to stay in Lardos, Lindos, Kalathos and Pefkos will not face cancellations. But those who have booked a stay in either Gennadi, Kiotari and Lachania - where the fire has hit worse - will be contacted by Jet2 to rearrange bookings or full refunds. "They have confirmed that operations are normal, so customers due to travel to these resorts from Monday 31st July onwards can continue to look forward to their holidays, and our normal terms and conditions apply."
The airline will continue to send empty aircrafts to Rhodes to bring UK customers back on their scheduled flights and additional ones who want to return earlier than expected. Affected Jet2 customers can seek assistance from airline staff at impacted resorts, evacuation centres and Rhodes airport who will be visible in their red uniforms.
