Peacock has released a new trailer for PlayStation's Twisted Metal TV show, ahead of its streaming debut this month
Twisted Metal is an original take on
’s vehicular combat series executive produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers of the Deadpool films and Zombieland. Michael Jonathan Smith, who wrote for and produced Cobra Kai, wrote and executive produced the show too.According to Peacock’s official synopsis, the series follows “a motor-mouthed outsider offered a chance at a better life, but only if he can successfully deliver a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
“With the help of a badass axe-wielding car thief, he’ll face savage marauders driving vehicles of destruction and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown who drives an all too familiar ice cream truck.”
