Volodymr*, his wife and two young children are renting a home in the UK and anxiously awaiting news about their visa, having come to the UK late last year under the Family Scheme.

“I don’t know what’s coming next. I saw an apprenticeship advertised where I could study and work, but I’m afraid they won’t take me because I only have two years left on my visa,” he said.to enable them to continue his son’s medical care and rebuild their lives with certainty. “I want to stay in the UK for life,” he said.
