Vet’s urgent warning over garden danger – keep your dog safe
“His toys are softer than the ones we have. Gus has the biggest mouth, and we don’t have balls at our house for this exact reason.
"If he gets hold of a tennis ball, he will break it and not let go but he is not usually prone to swallowing things." The relieved owner explained the type of balls Gus swallowed were rubbery which made it impossible for them to be removed via endoscopy. “We were concerned that the balls were the kind that would pop back up to their usual shape, so he had a really lucky escape," John added.“He came out feeling sorry for himself for the next couple of days," John added.This comes as other vets have issued further warnings to keep your dog safe.
