❄️ The UK is set to experience its first blast of winter weather next week, with further weather warnings for snow and ice “quite likely” and temperatures falling to as low as minus 5
“Autumn was incredibly mild and people will have been accustomed to those temperatures, so this week will come as even more of a shock,” he said.
“We’re in contact with the Government about the week ahead; it’s something we do on a routine basis but this winter could present a very significant impact than other winters, just because of the outside factors apart from the weather.”
