Solar panel group-buying scheme is now open for Watford residents.
Residents are being offered the chance to get solar panels at a lower price as part of a group scheme.
It allows residents to bulk buy panels for their homes which reduces bills and their carbon footprint, Watford mayor Peter Taylor said.“It is an excellent example of how the council can bring the community together to take action against climate change. I hope that lots of people once again take up the offer this year.”
Marie-Louise Abretti, iChoosr UK Solar manager, added: “With energy prices continuing to increase, residents of Watford are looking for opportunities to reduce their carbon emissions, save on energy bills and increase their independence from the grid. iChoosr is a privately owned energy company that focuses on helping households to select energy and solar power suppliers.
