The Bay TV production crews have been spotted on location in Morecambe recently filming dramatic car crash scenes
Known to nobody as the Brooklyn of the Lancashire coast, Morecambe might have a surprising link to the world-famous New York borough.
It is a claim so outlandish, it sounds like it must have some truth to it. And many viewers have been asking whether the brains behind 2003 hit I Know What You Want actually did spend time here in Lancashire. The latest scenes appear to represent a car chase scene, with Daniel Ryan and other members of the cast on set and ready for action. But as the new series mentions Busta Rhymes, we've looked into if the star actually spent time in the seaside resort.
"I didn’t live in England. My mother's other sister Aunt Velma, she lived in Morecambe, England at the time, so we went down there to spend two summers," said the 50-year-old, real name Trevor Smith Jnr, speaking to Cheo Hodari Coker of GQ.
