The driver was reportedly found to have been driving the vehicle with multiple issues

Police in West Lothian pulled over a driver and reportedly found multiple issues with their vehicle including the seat not being secure and the handbrake not working.

Edinburgh Live reported officers in Livingston’s road policing unit discovered the Volkswagen Golf in the small hamlet of Threemiletown recently. When they pulled over the driver, they noticed the seat was dangerously out of position and there “was no power steering.” They also detected that one of the tyres had a cut as they uploaded an image of what the vehicle supposedly looked like, with the driver’s seat appearing to be unsecure.

Officers subsequently seized the vehicle under ASBO legislation and the 42-year-old male driver was reported for multiple offences. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Road Policing Scotland said: “LivingstonRP stopped a Volkswagen Golf in Threemiletown. The driver’s seat was not secure, the handbrake didn’t work, no power steering & one of the tyres had a cut.
