Jada has announced she is 'no longer with her husband romantically'
Jada Pinkett Smith has claimed she has been separated from her husband Will Smith for just over six years. In an clip from her upcoming NBC News prime-time special with host Hoda Kotb, she revealed how her relationship has changed.
However, Jada's upcoming memoir is set to shed further light on her public-private life. A release for her book reads: "At the heart of this powerful book are two unexpected love stories, one being Jada's complicated marriage to Will Smith, the other being the one with herself."Will and Jada's paths first crossed when Jada auditioned for "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." Will had seen her on "A Different World" and was reportedly 'intrigued'.
Writing about the time in his memoir, Will said: "Our marriage wasn't working. We could no longer pretend. We were both miserable and clearly something had to change."After years of open marriage rumours, in April 2013 finally Jada addressed them. She stated that she and Will trusted each other to make their own decisions. She stated that rather than an "open relationship", they had a "grown relationship".
