Over three dozen windows were smashed 😠
Over three dozen windows were smashed in a mindless act of vandalism at a secondary school in Cumbernauld, causing damage up to £5,000 and climbing.
A forklift truck was also vandalised in the incident which took place between 10.30pm on Friday, May 5 and 6am on Tuesday, May 9.North Lanarkshire Council currently estimates the value to be over £5,000, which is expected to rise as inspections continue.A spokesperson said: "The school is currently undergoing work. However, we’re appealing for anyone who may’ve seen anyone on the grounds or scaffolding between these times to call 101, quoting incident number 0540 of 9th May 2023.
