A Scottish workers union and local football team have just linked up for a new sponsorship deal.Fan Group, Jags for Good, football team.

Jags for Good, which is a fan collective that mobilises other supporters for social justice causes, has an impressive track record of raising money for localWith the CWU Scotland's support for Fans Supporting Food Banks acrossSpeaking on the new venture, CWU Scotland secretary, Craig Anderson, said:"We are delighted to sponsor the Jags for Good football team."We recognise that mutual aid at the best of times, let alone within the current cost of incomes and living crisis, is vital.

"The very core of trade unions is built on solidarity, collectivism and mutual aid and we know that these are the principles of Jags for Good. "We look forward to working with them to help support people in Glasgow and beyond and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership with them.”While Neil Cowan from Jags for Good added:"Jags For Good are all about mobilising Partick Thistle fans in the name of social justice causes in the local community, and setting up our own football team is a way of bringing Jags fans together with others in the local community while also hopefully winning a few games of football.
