It is 'on the cusp'
Neighbours in a village at the very edge of Nottinghamshire admit they feel more a part of neighbouring Lincolnshire. Residents in Collingham, near Newark, explained their feelings were down to a number of factors, including working in Lincs and being closer to the city of Lincoln for shopping.
She added: "It's a difficult one as I grew up in Nottinghamshire. I lived in Nottingham for 15 years, and it feels quite far away." "My daughter would probably feel more Nottinghamshire than Lincolnshire but she goes to Lincoln Uni. We lived out at South Clifton before which was on the border as well.
