Dylan Lamb died just weeks after he received a devastating diagnosis
Dylan Lamb died on Saturday after being told just months ago that he had only weeks to live. The 20-year-old, who studied international business at the University of Liverpool, had been diagnosed with leukaemia after suffering from back pain in 2022.
He was then diagnosed with precursor T-cell acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and was having chemotherapy three days later. Dylan's girlfriend, Phoebe Cole said that, following chemotherapy, he was told he was in remission in July 2022.But in June 2023, he started feeling pain in his lower back once again and was told he had "weeks or months left to live". A GoFundMe page was set up to raise funds to head to America for life-saving treatment.
His friends, who recently took part in the Three Peaks Challenge for Dylan, revealed he died on Saturday in a tribute online. The tribute said: "He went in his sleep with his family by his side, having said his goodbyes to all of his friends the day before and I'm glad to tell you that he was still full of laughs and jokes.
