Man tells of decade-long revenge after neighbour stopped him from building extension
A man has told of his dad's revenge plan after his neighbours stopped him from building an extension. He said the residents are a little more annoying than most and they put a stop to his father's renovation plans because they thought it would "block the sunlight" to their own home.
Explaining the situation, he said: "When I was young my father applied for planning permission to build an extension but it was opposed by a neighbour and their excuse was that it would block the sunlight to their property. "Anyway, after a few years, they'd grown taller than our house and completely blocked out the so-called sunlight to our neighbour's property. The situation was so petty that I don't even think the neighbours noticed it because they've never said a word about it."
