Naoya Inoue knocked out Paul Butler in round 11 to become the undisputed bantamweight world champion on Tuesday in Japan.

In round two, a similar pattern emerged. Butler attempted to throw out his jab, though Inoue was unfazed and hammered him with hooks to the body.Inoue showed his impressive defence as he utilised head movement to swerve Butler’s brief assaults. He then returned to the front foot and pummelled his opponent to the body once more as the bell rang.Naoki FukudaTo the Brit’s credit, he remained on his feet and soon attempted a combination of his own which the Japanese champion absorbed without issue.
