These are the hand luggage restrictions that apply before getting on your flight
Airlines and airports have confirmed the UK rules that currently apply when taking hand luggage on your flight. Passengers need to know that all liquid, gel or cream toiletries and cosmetics - which must be in containers of 100ml or less each - must be in one transparent resealable plastic bag ready for security staff to X-ray separately.
Ryanair rules on liquids Ryanairsaid taking liquids, aerosols, and gels into the airport and onboard an aircraft is strictly subject to current security requirements. Do these apply across the UK? Yes. The GOV.UK website says there are restrictions on the amount of liquids you can take in your hand luggage and says that if possible, you should pack liquids in your hold baggage. Liquids include:Liquids in containers larger than 100ml generally cannot go through security even if the container is only part full.
Travellers will also no longer need to carry the containers in clear plastic bags, or remove tablet devices and laptops from their hand luggage at security checkpoints.
