Scots teen in coma to get air ambulance home from Spain tomorrow as mum thanks donors
A Scots teen who fell into a coma after contracting pneumonia in Spain is due to return home tomorrow. Bryony Duthie will be brought back to the UK via an intensive care air ambulance on Wednesday, thanks to the generosity of kind-hearted strangers.
Posting on Facebook, Stephanie, 37, said: "I would like to let everyone know that my girl is coming HOME on WEDNESDAY. We have an intensive care air ambulance booked to get us home. It is all down to every act of kindness, fundraising, sharing and donating. "The main priority now is keeping B safe until we can get her home to doctors at Ninewells, who can then decide how to proceed with her treatment and attempt to get her out the coma safely.
