Blackpool man who died after leaving hospital 'shouldn't have been discharged'
The dad of a Blackpool man who died after being discharged from hospital believes he should not have been allowed to return home, an inquest has heard.
A pre-inquest review held today at Blackpool Town Hall heard that Lloyd, who had previously battled a heroin addiction, died as a result of cocaine, heroin and methadone toxicity. His dad attended the hearing and voice his concerns that his son had been discharged from The Spinney which is run by Elysium Healthcare.The Spinney is a low security unit offers a range of care settings for male patients with personality disorder or mental illness.
